• NLO QCD corrections for off-shell $t\bar{t}b\bar{b}$

  We present a full off-shell NLO QCD calculation of $pp \rightarrow e^+ \nu_e b \mu^- \bar{\nu}_\mu \bar{b} b \bar{b} + X$. Results are obtained using the \textsc{Helac-Nlo} Monte Carlo framework. We discuss a comparison to previous results and to experimental measurements. We also investigate the contribution of the initial states involving $b$-quarks and we introduce two $b$-jet tagging schemes.

• Rapid measurements and phase transition detections made simple by AC-GANs

  In recent years, significant attention has been paid to using end-to-end neural networks for analyzing Monte Carlo data. However, the exploration of non-end-to-end generative adversarial neural networks remains limited. Here, we investigate classical many-body systems using generative adversarial neural networks. We employ the conditional generative adversarial network with an auxiliary classifier (AC-GAN) and integrate self-attention layers into the generator. This modification enables the network learn the distribution of the two-dimensional (2D) XY model's spin configurations and the physical quantities of interest. Utilizing the symmetry of the systems, we discover that AC-GAN can be trained with a very small raw dataset. This approach allows us to obtain reliable measurements for models typically demanding large samples, such as the large-sized 2D XY and the 3D constrained Heisenberg models. Moreover, we demonstrate the capability of AC-GAN to identify the phase transition points by quantifying the distribution changes in the spin configurations of the systems.

• Emergent symmetries in atomic nuclei: Probing nuclear dynamics and physics beyond the standard model

  Dominant shapes naturally emerge in atomic nuclei from first principles, thereby establishing the shape-preserving symplectic Sp(3, $\mathbb{R}$) symmetry as remarkably ubiquitous and almost perfect symmetry in nuclei. We discuss the critical role of this emergent symmetry in enabling machine-learning descriptions of heavy nuclei, ab initio modeling of $\alpha$ clustering and collectivity, as well as tests of beyond-the-standard-model physics. In addition, the Sp(3, $\mathbb{R}$) and SU(3) symmetries provide relevant degrees of freedom that underpin the ab initio symmetry-adapted no-core shell model with the remarkable capability of reaching nuclei and reaction fragments beyond the lightest and close-to-spherical species.

• DsTau: study of tau neutrino production with nuclear emulsion in the CERN-SPS

  Tau neutrino is one of the least known particle of Standard Model; there are only few measurements with a limited statistics. The DONUT experiment first reported the tau neutrino interaction cross-section but their measurement suffers from large systematic error of more than $50\%$ which is mainly due to uncertainty in the tau neutrino flux prediction. The tau neutrino cross section is an essential ingredient in neutrino experiments and its precise measurement would enable a search for new physics effects such as testing the Lepton Universality in neutrino interactions. The main goal of the DsTau experiment is to measure an inclusive differential cross-section of a $D_s$ production with a consecutive decay to tau lepton in p-A interactions at the CERN-SPS. The measurement of DsTau will reduce the systematic uncertainty in tau neutrino interaction cross-section to $10\%$ level. The results from the pilot run and the prospect for physics runs in 2021-2022 will be discussed.

• A pitfall in applying non-anticommuting $γ_5$ in $q\overline{q} \rightarrow ZH$ amplitudes

  In computing the two-loop QCD corrections to a class of Feynman diagrams for the process $q\overline{q} \rightarrow ZH$ in Higgs effective field theory, we discover a striking phenomenon. We find the need for an additional local composite operator in the renormalised Lagrangian while employing a non-anticommuting $\gamma_5$ in dimensional regularisation. The computation using anticommuting $\gamma_5$, however, does not require any such amendment.

• Exploring neutrino masses and mixing in the seesaw model with $L_e-L_\tau$ gauged symmetry

  We investigate neutrino phenomenology in the $U(1)_{L_e-L_\tau}$ gauge extension of the Standard Model with symmetry following the framework of type-(I+II) seesaw mechanism. For this, we have added three right handed neutrinos, one singlet and one scalar triplet in our model. We show that the model can successfully accommodate the observed neutrino oscillation data and consistent with the results from lepton flavor violation and neutrinoless double beta decay process.

• Recent progress on two-loop massless pentabox integrals with one off-shell leg

  Analytic expressions in terms of polylogarithmic functions for all three families of planar two-loop five-point Master Integrals with one off-shell leg are presented. The Simplified Differential Equations approach is the only known way to fulfil this task due to its unique factorisation property of the symbols of the canonical differential equation. The results are relevant to the study of many $2\to 3$ scattering processes of interest at the LHC.

• Measuring the attenuation length of muon number in the air shower with muon detectors of 3/4 LHAASO array

  LHAASO KM2A consists of 5915 scintillation detectors and 1188 muon detectors, and the muon detectors cover 4% area of the whole array with 30 m interdetector spacing. The muon number in air shower events, with very high energy, is investigated with the data recorded by muon detector of the 3/4 LHAASO array in 2021. The attenuation length of muon number in the air shower is measured by fitting the muon number with constant flux in various zenith angles, based on the constant intensity cut method. The variation of the attenuation length as shower energy from hundreds TeV to tens PeV is presented. The results of simulation also is presented for comparing.

• W+c-jet production at the LHC with NNLO QCD accuracy

  In these proceedings, we highlight some aspects of the recent computation of NNLO QCD corrections for W production in association with a charm jet at the LHC. The results are presented in the form of cross sections and differential distributions and are compared to ATLAS data.

• A measurement of the proton plus helium spectrum of cosmic rays in the TeV region with HAWC

  HAWC is an air-shower detector designed to study TeV gamma and cosmic rays. The observatory is composed of a 22000 $m^2$ array of 300 water Cherenkov tanks (4.5 m deep x 7.3 m diameter) with 4 photomultipliers (PMT) each. The instrument registers the number of hit PMTs, the timing information and the total charge at the PMTs during the event. From these data, shower observables such as the arrival direction, the core position at ground, the lateral age and the primary energy are estimated. In this work, we study the distribution of the shower age vs the primary energy of a sample of shower data collected by HAWC from June 2015 to June 2019 and employ a shower-age cut based on predictions of QGSJET-II-04 to separate a subsample of events dominated by H and He primaries. Using these data and a dedicated analysis, we reconstruct the cosmic ray spectrum of H+He from 6 to 158 TeV, which shows the presence of a softening at around 24 TeV with a statistical significance of 4.1$\sigma$.
