• Comparison of $pp$ and $p \bar{p}$ differential elastic cross sections and observation of the exchange of a colorless $C$-odd gluonic compound

  We describe the discovery of the colorless $C$-odd gluonic compound, the odderon, by the D0 and TOTEM Collaborations by comparing elastic differential cross sections in $pp$ and $p \bar{p}$ interactions at high energies.

• The Belle II experiment: Status and prospects

  The Belle II experiment at the SuperKEKB energy asymmetric $e^{+}e^{-}$ collider is a substantial upgrade of the B factory facility at the Japanese KEK laboratory. The design luminosity of the machine is $6\times10^{35}$ $cm^{-2}s^{-1}$ and the Belle II experiment aims to record 50 $ab^{-1}$ of data, a factor of 50 more than its predecessor. With this data set, Belle II will be able to measure the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix, the matrix elements and their phases, with unprecedented precision and explore flavor physics with $B$, charmed mesons, and $\tau$ leptons. Belle II has also a unique capability to search for low-mass dark matter and low-mass mediators. In this paper, we will review the status of the Belle II detector, SuperKEKB accelerator and the prospects for physics at Belle II.

• Study of light nuclei by polarization observables in electron scattering

  Electron-induced proton, neutron and deuteron knock-out remains the most versatile probe of the electro-magnetic properties and spin structure of light nuclei. The advent of highly polarized beams and targets and improvements in recoil polarization methods, as well as analysis and simulation techniques, have enabled us to study the static and dynamical properties of few-body systems with unprecedented precision. Recent experiments at Jefferson Lab and MAMI are presented and put into perspective of state-of-the art Faddeev calculations, with focus on the $^\mathbf{3}\mathbf{He}$ nucleus.

• Photon TMDs from uPDFevolv

  We present photon TMDs generated using the Parton Branching Method with QED evolution. We discuss the TMD’s properties and compare it to the gluon TMD. Two sets of TMDs differing in their initial evolution scale and the choice of the renormalisation scale are defined and compared to each other.

• Calculation of asymptotic normalization coefficients in the complex-ranged Gaussian basis

  A new technique towards finding asymptotic normalization coefficients in the complex-ranged Gaussian basis is presented. It is shown that a diagonalisation procedure for the total Hamiltonian matrix in the given basis results in approximation for a radial part of the bound state wave function from the origin up to the far asymptotic distances, which allows to extract ANCs rather accurately. The method is illustrated by calculations of single-particle ANCs for nuclei bound states in cases of non-local nucleon-nucleus interactions, in particular, phenomenological global potentials with the Perey-Buck's non-locality.

• Application of the JISP16 potential to the nucleon induced deuteron breakup process at E=13 MeV and E=65 MeV

  The JISP16 nucleon-nucleon potential has been applied to investigations of the nucleon induced deuteron breakup reaction at the incoming nucleon laboratory energies E = 13 MeV and E = 65 MeV. We have found that for the studied process the JISP16 force gives a description of the exclusive cross section, which is generally similar to the ones obtained with the standard realistic nucleon-nucleon AV18 interaction. However, there are some regions of the phase space where the differential cross sections predicted by the JISP16 and AV18 models, differ by more than 100 %. These special kinematical configurations may possibly be useful to refit the JISP16 force parameters.

• $\Lambda$ Polarizing Fragmentation Function from Belle $e^+ e^-$ data

  Experimental data from Belle Collaboration for the transverse polarization of $\Lambda$'s measured in $e^+ e^-$ annihilation processes are used to extract the polarizing fragmentation function (FF) within a TMD approach. We consider both associated and inclusive $\Lambda$ production, showing a quite consistent scenario. Good separation in flavor is obtained, leading to four independent FFs. Predictions for SIDIS processes at the EIC, crucial for understanding their universality and evolution properties, are also presented.

• Longitudinal Z-boson polarization and the Higgs boson production cross-section

  Lepton pairs are produced copiously in high-energy hadron collisions via electroweak gauge boson exchange, and are one of the most precisely measured final states in proton- proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). We propose that measurements of lepton angular distributions can be used to improve the accuracy of theoretical predic- tions for Higgs boson production cross sections at the LHC. To this end, we exploit the sensitivity of the lepton angular coefficient associated with the longitudinal Z-boson polarization to the parton density function (PDF) for gluons resolved from the incoming protons, in order to constrain the Higgs boson cross section from gluon fusion processes. By a detailed numerical analysis using the open-source platform xFitter, we find that high-statistics determinations of the longitudinally polarized angular coefficient at the LHC Run III and high-luminosity HL-LHC improve the PDF systematics of the Higgs boson cross section predictions by 50 % over a broad range of Higgs boson rapidities.

• Effect of isospin averaging for $ppK^-$ kaonic cluster

  The kaonic cluster $ppK^-$ is described by isospin-dependent $N{\bar K}$ potentials with significant difference between singlet and triplet components. The quasi-bound state energy of the system is calculated based on the configuration space Faddeev equations within isospin and averaged potential models. The isospin averaging of $ N{\bar K} $ potentials is used to simplify the isospin model to isospinless one. We show that three-body bound state energy $E_{3}$ has a lower bound within the isospin formalism due to relation $\left\vert E_{3}(V_{NN}=0)\right\vert<2\left\vert E_{2}\right\vert$, where $E_{2}$ is the binding energy of isospin singlet state of the $N{\bar K}$ subsystem. The averaged potential model demonstrates opposite relation between $|E_{2}|$ and $|E_{3}(V_{NN}=0)|$.

• Implications of new physics in $\Lambda_b \to \Lambda_c \ell \nu_{\ell}$ decay processes

  Several indications of lepton non universality ratios, $R{(D^*)}$, $R{(J/\Psi)}$ and the measurements on hadronic and $\tau$ longitudinal polarizations in $b \to c \ell \bar{\nu_{\tau}}$ processes have attracted a lot of attentions. By considering the most general effective Lagrangian, we carry out a model independent analysis of the semileptonic $\Lambda_b$ decays, to inspect the nature of new physics. We constraint the new physics parameter space by using the chi square fitting. We study the implications of constrained new couplings on the observable such as branching fractions, forward-backward asymmetries, lepton non universality parameter and $\Lambda_c$ and lepton longitudinal polarization fractions of the decay modes.
