• Global fits of Dirac dark matter effective field theories

  In this proceeding, we present results from a global fit of Dirac fermion dark matter (DM) effective field theory (EFT) based on arXiv:2106.02056 using the GAMBIT framework. Here we show results only for the dimension-6 operators that describe the interactions between a gauge-singlet Dirac fermion and Standard Model quarks. Our global fit combines the latest constraints from Planck, direct and indirect DM detection, and the LHC. For DM mass below 100 GeV, it is impossible to simultaneously satisfy all constraints while maintaining the EFT validity at high energies. For higher masses, however, large regions of parameter space remain viable where the EFT is valid and saturates the observed DM abundance.

• Three-nucleon force effects in the FSI configuration of the d(n, nn)p breakup reaction

  We investigated three-nucleon (3N) force effects in the final state interaction (FSI) configuration of the d(n, nn)p breakup reaction at the incoming nucleon energy E n = 200 MeV. Although 3N force effects for the elastic nucleon-deuteron scattering cross section at comparable energies are located predominantly in the region of intermediate and backward angles, the corresponding 3N force effects for the integrated FSI configuration breakup cross section are found also at forward scattering angles.

• ISAI: Investigating Solar Axion by Iron-57

  The existence of the axion is a unique solution for the strong CP problem, and the axion is one of the most promising candidates of the dark matter. Investigating Solar Axion by Iron-57 (ISAI) is being prepared as a complemented table-top experiment to confirm the solar axion scenario. Probing an X-ray emission from the nuclear transitions associated with the axion-nucleon coupling is a leading approach. ISAI searches for the monochromatic 14.4 keV X-ray from the first excited state of $^{57}$Fe using a state-of-the-art pixelized silicon detector, dubbed XRPIX, under an extremely low-background environment. We highlight scientific objectives, experimental design and the latest status of ISAI.

• Intrinsic charm in the nucleon and forward production of charm: a new constrain from IceCube Neutrino Observatory

  The predictions for the atmospheric neutrino flux at high energies strongly depend on the contribution of prompt neutrinos, which are determined by the production of charmed meson in the atmosphere at very forward rapidities. Here we estimate the related cross sections taking into account the presence of an intrinsic charm (IC) component in the proton wave function. The impact on the predictions for the prompt neutrino flux is investigated assuming different values for the probability to find the IC in the nucleon.

• Measurements of $\phi$ meson and $\Xi^-$ hyperon production in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 3 GeV from STAR experiment

  In this proceedings, we present our first measurements of $\phi$ meson and $\Xi^-$ hyperon production in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 3 GeV. Various models including thermal and transport model calculations are compared to data, these results imply that the matter produced in the 3 GeV Au+Au collisions is considerably different from that at higher energies.

• The Hoyle Family: break-up measurements to probe α-condensation in light nuclei

  The 12C Hoyle state is a candidate for α-condensation, due to its large volume and α-cluster structure. This paper discusses precision break-up measurements and how they can elucidate α-condensate structures. Two experiments are discussed in detail, firstly concerning the break-up of 12C and then the decays of heavier nuclei. With more theoretical input, and increasingly complex detector setups, precision break-up measurements can, in principle, provide insight into the structures of states in α-conjugate nuclei. At present, such searches have not delivered evidence for α-condensation in 12C or 16O.

• Electric-dipole transitions in 6Li with a fully microscopic six-body calculation

  Exploring new excitation modes and the role of the nuclear clustering has been of great interest. An interesting speculation was made in the recent photoabsorption measurement of 6Li that implied the importance of the nuclear clustering. To understand the excitation mechanism of 6Li, we perform a fully microscopic six-body calculation on the electric-dipole (E1) transitions and discuss how 6Li is excited by the E1 field as a function of the excitation energy. We show the various cluster components in the six-body wave functions and discuss the role of the nuclear clustering in the E1 excitations of 6Li.

• Rényi entropies for one-dimensional quantum systems with mixed boundary conditions

  We present a general method for calculating Rényi entropies in the ground state of a one-dimensional critical system with mixed open boundaries, for an interval starting at one of its ends. Technically, we consider the case when the boundary operator implementing the change of boundary conditions is degenerate under the Virasoro algebra. By exploiting the null-vectors conditions, we derive the ordinary differential equations that govern the scaling functions associated to the entropies. In particular, we provide an explicit formula for the second Rényi entropy. Additionally, we identify and compute the leading finite-size corrections to compare our theoretical results with numerical data for the Ising and three-state Potts critical chains.

• Approaching the first any light particle search II science run

  The Any Light Particle Search II (ALPS II) is a light-shining-through-a-wall (LSW) experiment based at DESY in Hamburg, Germany, that will search for axions and axion-like particles down to the coupling of the axion to two photons of $g_{a\gamma\gamma}$ >2$\times10^{-11}$ GeV$^{-1}$ for masses below 0.1 meV. ALPS II will use two strings of superconducting dipole magnets that are over one hundred meters in length, as well as optical cavities before and after the wall to boost the effective signal rate of the regenerated photons by more than 12 orders of magnitude when compared to previous generations of LSW experiments. Data taking with a simplified optical system is expected to begin in early 2023.
